Your job title: YA Librarian

Your work in one sentence: Making libraries a place where tweens, teens, and emerging adults have a welcoming place to be.

What do you love about Brooklyn? Our community of people who are passionate about Brooklyn’s history, art, and cultureand the great coffee. Usagi and Fontainhas are two favorites.

What made you want to become a librarian? After spending the majority of my career in corporate learning and development, I made the switch as a means of both fulfilling a longtime personal goal and contributing to a community that fosters learning and curiosity at all ages.

More information about programming for tweens and teens at Adams Street Library: Our fall schedule includes anime watch parties, a monthly tween book club, and the return of Brooklyn Robotics League! We are also piloting dedicated Teen Coworking Spaces for study, collab, and college prep. I’m also excited to be hosting a drop-in Craft Circle for adults on Tuesday evenings.
