Tickets

Interested in tickets? The US Open may be in Queens, but it’s just a short ride from Brooklyn on the 7 train. You can grab tickets through the official US Open website, with prices varying greatly by day, session, and stadium. Night sessions tend to cost more, and the big matches take place at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Children two or older require their own ticket.

Grounds passes can be a cheaper alternative, allowing entry at 9:30am until late into the evening (only through Day 9 of the tournament, Sunday August 31). Early in the tournament, you’ll also get first-come, first-serve access to unreserved seats in the Armstrong & Grandstand stadiums, plus Field Courts 4-17. You can also the many food options and snap a selfie with a Honey Deuce—the US Open’s official cocktail made with vodka, lemonade, raspberry liqueur, and garnished with honeydew melon balls that look like mini tennis balls. Plus, the big matches will be broadcast on a big screen. However, these can still go for $200–$400 on some days, so be sure to check prices for reserved stadium seating as well!
