We’ve rounded up this month’s best events for tweens and teens across Brooklyn and Manhattan! Check out CAMPTOPIA at Brooklyn Basketball Training Center in Downtown Brooklyn, PokemonTopia at Adams Street Library Annex in DUMBO, Sumo + Sushi at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, BAM’s after-school Teen Space, and the Harlem Globetrotters at Barclays Center. Teen Space at BAM | Fort Greene

Join BAM for a free after-school program—featuring arts experiences curated by teens, for teens—every Tuesday afternoon for five weeks. Grab a slice of pizza, win a raffle, or show off that new piece you’ve been working on! All first-time students must complete an RSVP form prior to joining us.

Exhibition Tour of The Battle of Brooklyn: Fought and Remembered | Brooklyn Heights

Friday, February 13 | 3-4pm

The Battle of Brooklyn: Fought and Remembered is a new exhibition at the Center for Brooklyn History (on view through Monday, December 30, 2026) that uses artifacts, archival documents, rare maps, and interactive features to explore the 1776 Battle of Brooklyn. Free weekly public tours begin on Friday, February 13!

Friendship Dance at Artshack Brooklyn | Bed-Stuy

Friday, February 13 | 6-9pm | Ages 9-12 | $35

Join us for Artshack’s first ever Friendship Dance! Parents drop off (no parents allowed)! There will be special snacks and beverages, plus, optional oil press t-shirt stamping.

Sumo + Sushi | Brooklyn Navy Yard

Sunday, February 15 | 1:30 & 5:00pm | Tickets start at $113.86

Learn about Sumo’s history and culture, watch over 12 live exhibition matches, ask the wrestlers questions, and enjoy sushi during the event. Tickets are on sale now. Sunday, February 15 is the only all-ages show of the weekend; all other shows February 13–15 are 21+.

Harlem Globetrotters: 100 Year Tour at Barclays Center | Downtown Brooklyn

Sunday, February 15 | 3pm | $41 

The Harlem Globetrotters will bring their 100 Year Tour to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center this month, with gravity-defying dunks, comedy, and all-ages basketball fun as they face longtime rivals the Washington Generals.

Black Future Festival at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum | Crown Heights

Sunday, February 15– Saturday, February 21 | 10am-5pm | $15

Make art, learn dances, create music, and envision the future that celebrates Black culture and the African Diaspora.

Teen Valentines Karaoke at Brooklyn Heights Library | Brooklyn Heights

Poke City Card Show at Boerum Hall | Williamsburg

Saturday, February 21 | 10am-3pm | $5, free for ages 0-12

Attend the Poke City Card Show for an exciting buy, sell, and trade event featuring many vendors with Pokémon cards and collectibles for all types of collectors. Enjoy great food, connect with fellow fans, and a giveaway is included with every ticket purchase. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just getting started, Poke City Card Show is the place to be!

Flex Olympics at Brooklyn Children’s Museum | Crown Heights

Thursday, February 26 | 3:30-4:15 pm | FREE

Show off your moves at Brooklyn Children’s Museum’s Flex Olympics dance workshop! Learn street dance fundamentals, develop your own signature style, and compete in playful dance challenges. Flex is a high-energy street dance that was born in Brooklyn in the 1990s, inspired by Jamaican dancehall.

Candlelight: Tribute to Taylor Swift at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church | Brooklyn Heights

Thursday, February 26 & Friday, February 27 | 6:30pm | Tickets start at $36.50 | For 8+, anyone under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult

Candlelight Concerts bring live, multi-sensory music to awe-inspiring locations. Join for songs by Taylor Swift in St Ann & the Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn Heights.

Brooklyn United Live at Mark Morris Dance Group | Fort Greene

Friday, February 27–Sunday, March 1 | 5 showtimes | $35+

Brooklyn United Live is an off-Broadway show created by the members of Brooklyn United Music & Arts program that gives a glimpse into the lives of its members: rigorous schedule, long hours of practice, and the endless days of performances all balanced out with school, family and life.

PokemonTopia at Adams Street Library Annex | DUMBO

Friday, February 27 | 2:30-5:30pm

Think you have what it takes to be a Pokémon Master? Join us on February 27th the 30th birthday of Pokemon with a fan gathering at the Adams Street Library Annex! Whether you’re a competitive battler or a Master Collector, there’s a spot for you. Free and best for ages 8+. Kids and teens can come alone or can be dropped-off.

  • Trade & Battle: Bring your collection! Meet other trainers and trade cards to complete your Pokédex.
  • Create & Play: Dive into Pokémon-themed crafts and games throughout the event.

CAMPTOPIA: Brooklyn’s biggest summer camp fair at Brooklyn Basketball Training Center | Downtown Brooklyn

CAMPTOPIA will feature 35+ summer camps in Brooklyn & beyond + countless free activities for children 3 to 13 years old! Get ready for CAMPTOPIA, the ultimate summer camp experience fair is coming to Brooklyn! Unlike any traditional camp fair, CAMPTOPIA lets families experience camps in person with over 30+ free kids’ activities for all ages.Enjoy hands-on STEM and robotics, interactive games, creative arts and crafts, soccer, music exploration, stop-motion animation, and tons of giveaways. Parents can explore a wide variety of 2026 summer camp options, meet with camps offering programs for every interest, and take advantage of special early bird offers. Bumper Cars on Ice at Bryant Park | Manhattan

Through February 28 | $24.83/ person on weekdays and $29.35/person on weekends | Best for ages 7+

Bumper Cars on Ice are back at Bryant Park, letting families bump, slide, and spin across The Rink at the Winter Village. Open Sundays–Fridays from 2-10pm and Saturdays from 9:20am-5:20pm, tickets can be reserved online or in person, but advance booking is strongly recommended due to high demand. Rides are 10 minutes.

Iceless Curling and Winter Games at Bryant Park | Manhattan

Daily through February 26 | 11am-7pm | FREE

Get in the spirit of the Winter Olympics! Try your hand at iceless curling with our four new lanes adjacent to Bryant Park’s rink. These curling lanes are open every day through February 26 and available for free on a first come, first served basis. Plus, take a photo in a bobsled!

Go sledding with your friends
