Lunar New Year Kids Day

Join SAMA SAMA for a special Lunar New Year celebration in partnership with Welcome to Chinatown, creating a joyful, screen-free space where children explore Chinese language and culture through stories, crafts, food & drink and community connection while schools are closed for this national holiday. Children will learn simple Mandarin phrases through storytelling with Michele Wong from Gordon & Li Li, create traditional crafts with Bo & Mei, and enjoy treats from Spongies Cafe, Mei Lah, and Lily's Treats. Parents and caregivers can savor a special tea tasting hosted by Yustea Tea while kids play in our quiet, low-stimulation space.
