Celebrate Zak Kitnick’s, “Paintings for Children” at Nino Mier Gallery

Nino Mier Gallery invites you to celebrate "Paintings for Children," our upcoming exhibition with Zak Kitnick, on view in SoHo March 7 - April 4, 2026. Kitnick’s show features one hundred small paintings installed at the heights of two, three, and four-year-old children. Inspired by a set of Marimekko bed sheets the artist owned as a child and revisited as a new father, the paintings depict cars, trucks, and buses. A portion of all sales will be donated to Wide Rainbow, a New York City–based after-school arts program for children.

We are hosting two family-friendly opening events with popcorn, cotton candy, and coloring on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 from 10AM to 3PM. We welcome children of all ages and their art-loving parents to join us at our SoHo gallery, located at 62 Crosby st. Please RSVP at newyork@miergallery.com and spread the word to friends and family.
