3. BKCM’s Open Stages

Brooklyn Conservatory of Music’s Open Stages is a neighborhood-wide, free music festival with stages all over Park Slope, and a celebration of Brooklyn’s vibrant music scene. Open Stages takes place rain or shine, and all best efforts will be made to keep the music going regardless of weather. The festival is free and open to everyone, but it’s also a fundraiser that supports music education and therapy for over 7,000 New Yorkers of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds across the five boroughs. “Touch A Truck” is one of Park Slope’s landmark events, back again for 2026! This large-scale event at the PS 295 Brooklyn campus features vehicles, food trucks, inflatable play spaces, live music, and hands-on activities. 7. The Fabulous 5th Avenue Fair

9. DUMBO DROP 2026 on Washington Street

#DUMBODROP is an Annual Tradition where thousands of toy elephants parachute down from the skies of Dumbo onto the cobblestoned Washington Street – Brooklyn’s most iconic block. Ticket holders also have access to Restaurant Row, spectacle photo opps, music, arts & crafts, a bouncy slide and more fun! All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Dumbo’s Title 1 public schools, PS307 Elementary and The Dock Street Middle School.
