Spring Fling in Brooklyn Heights Sunday 5/17
Join Brooklyn Bridge Parents for our second annual Spring Fling on Sunday, May 17. We are taking over Montague Street during Open Streets from 12 to 4 pm for a full day of community play and discovery with 25 free kids’ activities. Dive into interactive games, arts & crafts, soccer, STEM, building activities, Pokémon trading, and much more. The PuppetMobile will present a special Pinocchio performance at 1 pm. Free RSVP here.
DUMBO Drop Friday 5/29
The beloved DUMBO neighborhood party returns for its annual flying elephant spectacle! Thousands of parachuting toy elephants rain down from the rooftops surrounding Washington Street, Brooklyn’s most iconic block, in two drops at 5pm and 7pm. Tickets include a souvenir toy elephant, a guaranteed spot on the block between Front and Water Streets, and an entry into each Drop’s prize sweepstakes. Doors open at 3:30pm for the 5pm Drop and 6:00pm for the 7pm Drop. Extras include a live set by The Jelly on the Main Stage, a flash mob dance party, and a photobooth.
