To celebrate America’s 250th, and the 50th anniversary of the Macy’s Fireworks, there will be fireworks at the Brooklyn Bridge, East River and Hudson River this year. Spectators must have a ticket to view the fireworks from Brooklyn including Brooklyn Bridge Park and the Promenade. Free tickets will be available via lottery, check back regularly here. We will update this article once we know more!

All viewing areas in Brooklyn Bridge Park are ticketed via a lottery and people with tickets will be able to enter the park at 4 PM. Tickets are not yet available.

The two primary entrances will be on Atlantic/Pier 3 and Old Fulton/Pier 1.

Brooklyn Bridge Park will be closed on July 4 prior to the event.
- The Adidas Home of Soccer in Brooklyn Bridge Park will be closed July 3 – 5.

There will be limited community tickets available for viewing from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Distribution details are still being worked out.

The frozen zone (resident-only access) will be much smaller this year – with access mainly restricted on Furman, Columbia Heights, Old Fulton/Doughty/Vine, Joralemon, and Montague. Montague will remain open for dining and shopping. The exact map detailing closures is still being finalized by NYPD.

No parking is permitted in the frozen zone. Towing will begin during the evening of July 3 into the morning of July 4.
The Tall Ships are also coming to celebrate the 250th! Some of these ships will be docked at Piers 1, 3 and 5 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, with a parade on July 3 and public tours on July 5-6-7.
