New bakeries and restaurants opening in our neighborhoods in February ’24

New bakeries, bars and restaurants have opened up in February in our neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

DUMBO: A new gastro pub Nobody Told Me has opened up on the corner of Bridge and Front Street in the Front and York building serving cocktails, American bar food, wine and beer. Open until 2 am daily and kitchen open late. (main photo)

Prospect Heights: Le Pistol, a new “French-rockabilly-chic” bar, serves crudos, cocktails, and a Creole labneh Nashville fried chicken sandwich. 780 Washington Avenue, at Sterling Place

Clinton Hill: It’s third time’s the charm for the team behind this breakfast spot: First it was Rosalu, then Lulu & Po a year later, it has relaunched as Bittersweet Breakfast. The name references Bittersweet, a Fort Greene coffee shop the team also owns. 274 Hall Street, near Dekalb Avenue

Red Hook: Brooklyn’s Grindhaus restaurant made a dramatic exit at the end of the year: “Grindhaus has gone dark,” owner Erin Norris wrote on Instagram in December. “No further questions at this time.” But instead of closing, the restaurant changed lanes: It reopened on Valentine’s Day with a new menu and name. Ourhaus serves Asian fusion dishes like lamb bao with yogurt and “Chicken Cordon Wu” with Velveeta cheese and tonkatsu slaw. To make a reservation, you have to text the restaurant at (347) 597-3063. 275 Van Brunt Street, near Pioneer Street

Park Slope: Little Honey, a new bakery led by an alum of Blue Hill at Stone Barns, opened in Park Slope. There are buttermilk biscuit egg sandwiches, carrot bread, croissants, salads, and more. Roman-style pizzas are served by the slice and the patisserie is open all day. It is not yet open for dinner. 487 Seventh Avenue, near Windsor Place

Park Slope: Maison De Viennoiserie offers French pastries and cakes. Between 5th and 6th Street on 5th Ave.

Coming soon to Columbia Street Waterfront: The Michelin-starred team behind Clinton Hill’s Place Des Fetes and Prospect Heights’ Oxalis is opening a new bakery in the Columbia Waterfront District. The mostly French, European-leaning bakery will make bread and pastries for their restaurant and for the public. Laurel Bakery is set to open late March.

Coming soon to Prospect Heights: Radio Bakery is opening a location in Prospect Heights at the old Blue Marble spot in early fall. They offer croissants, sourdough breads, sandwiches, breakfast and lunch items at their Greenpoint location.

Amy’s Bread closing in Brooklyn Heights: Amy’s Bread bakery and cafe on Henry Street has closed for good in February.
