Le Pain Quotidien has reopened on Court Street, a family-friendly Italian restaurant has landed in Cobble Hill and Bank Street Coffee pop-ups are occupying empty lots in DUMBO and Boerum Hill.

Le Pain Quotidien reopen in Brooklyn Heights

Le Pain Quotidien never reopened its Montague Street outpost but took over the Maison Kayser space on Court Street as its new location. The bread and food selection as well as community table design seem to be the same as pre-pandemic.

New pop-up coffee shops in DUMBO and Cobble Hill

Blank Street Coffee has opened up portable coffee shops with outdoor seating in empty parking lots in DUMBO and Boerum Hill and will open a permanent location on Court Street in Cobble Hill.

Italian restaurant Barbalu with outdoor seating has opened up on the corner of Smith and Bergen Street offering family-friendly cuisine including pizza, homemade pasta dishes, antipasti plates and brunch.

Huge Thai is open on Court Street offering Thai street cuisine including Wok dishes, vegan options and small bites.

New bar in DUMBO

The Hull, underground brewpub downstairs at Seamores is now open serving craft beer, cocktails and food.

New food market and cafe in Carroll Gardens

Local Roots NYC is a market and cafe open Wednesday to Monday at 398 Court Street offering local produce, ready to eat meals and baked goods including housemade scallion pancakes with local sharp cheddar, fritattas, vegan tofu dishes and much more.
