Two new daycares coming to Downtown Brooklyn this fall

Downtown Brooklyn has long been a “daycare desert” which is about to change! Two new daycares for kids as young as 6 weeks old are opening this fall in the neighborhood!

French-English daycare Petits Poussins will open at 11 Hoyt Street in September 2021. The bilingual program will be offered to students from 6 weeks to 5 years old with a native French and a native English speaking teacher in each classroom. The center will be open from 8 am to 6 pm and tuition for those hours vary by age from $30,500 to 33,700 per year. Enrollment is open now.

Lightbridge Academy is the Solution for Working Parents®, providing a safe, nurturing, educational environment for Infant, Toddler, and Preschool children.” The center with outdoor space at 237 Duffield Street will be open from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm for children 6 weeks to 5 years old this summer. They will also offer back-up care for students 6 to 13 years old. Enrollment is open now.
