Upcoming spring flings and Easter egg hunts

Atlantic Avenue Spring Fling | 4/3

The “Atlantic Avenue Spring Fling” will be held on Saturday, April 3rd, from 12 pm through 5 pm, through Brooklyn neighborhoods Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill. Visitors can stroll along the avenue from Fourth Avenue to the Waterfront, to enjoy the no-touch virtual egg-scavenger hunt using QR codes placed on storefront windows of local businesses. Once scanned, attendees’ phone screens will be directed to a fun riddle with a chance to win a prize or special treats. Everyone is invited to dress up in their best Easter bonnet and spring finery and visit selfie stations to take photos.

Myrtle Ave Easter Hunt | Saturday 4/3

Join your neighbors for a free, socially-distanced Easter hunt in Fort Greene. Pick up an Easter Hunt card in the Myrtle Avenue Plaza (at Myrtle Ave & Hall St), then find all 6 bunnies along Myrtle Ave to get a goodie bag full of eggs and stickers, and a free book from Brooklyn Book Bodega.

Outdoor Easter Adventure at Cadman Plaza | Saturday 4/3

Hop along with us on a magical Easter Imagination Adventure! Celebrate with Treasure Trunk as we bounce like bunnies, collect Easter eggs, and enjoy the beauty of spring in this engaging outdoor class! Registration includes bunny ears and a special bunny surprise favor bag for each kiddo to take home. For ages 3 to 7 years, $45 per child. RSVP here.

Brooklyn Heights Spring Egg Hunt cancelled

The Brooklyn Heights Association made the decision not to hold the traditional Spring Egg Hunt at Pierrepont Playground this year. Since they don’t want to let spring pass by without at least some celebration, the BHA will be organizing a day to “Spring into Service” on Sunday April 18 – so mark your calendars. This will be fun day for everyone in the community to celebrate spring and participate in neighborhood clean up activities. Details to follow very soon!
