In August of 1776, the first and largest battle of the American Revolution took place in what is now Brooklyn, NY. The Battle of Brooklyn: Fought and Remembered at the Brooklyn Public Library uses photos, artifacts, rare maps and more from the Library’s collection to bring this turning point in American history to the public. - Movies With A View: Hamilton in Brooklyn Bridge Park
