Brooklyn Public Library launches virtual program

The Brooklyn Public Library is now offering virtual programming for all ages including story time with local librarians, foreign language learning, SAT test prep, virtual Mario Kart and much more.

Read stories and sing songs with the Library’s Virtual Story Times. Just like the story times you love in the branches, now online, with librarians from across the borough.

Learn Spanish, French, Russian or any one of 72 languages when you check out language lessons on Mango or visit CultureGrams, an online tool where kids and their parents can learn about other countries with photo galleries, video clips, and even recipes to try from each region.

Practice for the SAT, AP, ACT, TASC (high school equivalency exam) or simply improve your reading or math skills when you visit the Learning Express Library.

Take a break from binge watching, with an e-book, newspaper or popular magazine.

Join us for BPL’s Virtual Mario Kart session! Pick a character, play against your friends and people all across Brooklyn to dominate the race! All skill levels welcome and no registration required!

For hands on arts and science activities for kids, check out our librarian-led online videos.
