Program Details: Like many other youth programs Game Lab has closed its physical doors, but is bringing you great, online programs during this trying time. We’re now offering virtual Dungeons & Dragons every week-day from 3 – 6 pm. This program is appropriate for absolute beginners to experts, as we divide kids into Zoom Rooms by age and experience. Instructions for logging on will be on your receipt. Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy role-playing game set in an imaginary world based loosely on medieval myth. Players develop characters and go on quests — game play is driven by narrative storytelling. This game is ideal for social connection during this city shut down! Players work together to coordinate their complementary skill sets to problem-solve and overcome diverse challenges.

In our programming for pint-sized players we delight in dramatic play, songs and creative movement and storytelling. Language skills, listening and collaboration blossom during the session. Using their bodies, voices and minds, students reinterpret classic and contemporary children’s literature and are inspired to create their own adventures. Connections are made to the world around them through story and play. A princess hails a cab in Brooklyn…a shark needs to visit the dentist…a superhero visits the grocery store to power-up…a pirate wants a play date with YOU! Let your imagination run wild when we put incredible characters into real-life scenarios.
Frozen Adventures for Grades K-2 – Tuesday at 2:30 pm
Students will bravely go “Into the Unknown” in this musical theater class that will have them singing and dancing their way into winter! Drawing inspiration from the original Snow Queen fairy tale as well as the popular films, kids will play in character.. Theater games and improvs will have them racing reindeer, getting lost (and found!) in the woods, building snowmen and belting out loud to unite the kingdoms!
Hogwarts School for Grades 1-4 – Wednesday at 3:00 pm
School may be out, but Hogwarts is always in! Together we will use theater games to explore our favorite characters and play games inspired from the cannon of Harry Potter. Special guest characters and missions visit each remote class and help us on our quests. Come get sorted into your favorite house, jump on your Firebolt and let’s make some magic!
Pokémon in Play for Grades 1-4 – Friday at 4:30 pm
Time to catch ’em all! We will be exploring the vast regions of the Pokémon world, tracking down our favorite Pokémon from the skies above Galar to the depths of the Kanto sea. We’ll undergo the rigorous trials of becoming a master through improv and theater games. We’ll earn badges by proving our prowess, capture our favorite Pokémon, battle Gigantamaxes together, and save each other from the dangers of Team Rocket. So grab your dex and go!

Program details: CinemaKidz Virtual classes provide a fun and interactive way to explore filmmaking, acting, storytelling and media from the comfort of your home.
