Brooklyn Bridge Park has released more information about the Pier 5 parkland under construction. Highlights:
- Renovated access points along Joralemon and Furman Streets
- A terraced lawn which will be accessible to the public as open green space next year
- A new boat house which will be home for various boating programs in the park. It will provide storage for non-motorized vessels on the ground floor and will feature a versatile space on the upper floor for workshops and education classes
- New public restrooms inside the boathouse
- A new Maintenance & Operations facility for Brooklyn Bridge Park’s staff
