NIKE & NYC Basketball: Pick-up games and skills clinics led by expert coaches to enable athletes of all levels to become better by reaching individual goals at Pier 2 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 to 9 pm for 10 years and up. Free! More info here!

Youth Rugby Clinic: The clinics at Pier 5 in Brooklyn Bridge Park will include an introduction to the game of rugby through basic drills, scrimmages, and fun games. For boys and girls ages 6-15. No experience necessary! Parent/guardian must be present during the entire clinic and must sign a waiver for each child before participating. Wednesdays 7/29 from 4 – 5.30 pm. Free! More info here!

Kids yoga in the park: Kids yoga for ages 18 months to 7 years will take place at Cadman Plaza; Weekly on Wednesdays, 9:30 am; July 29, August 5, 12, 19; $15 / 1st child, $10 additional child

AudraRox music drop-ins at Hill Country Barbecue: Up to age 5. Fridays in the summer 10:30 am; $20 drop-in class; July 24, 31 & August 7 at 345 Adams Street.

Pier Kids at Pier 6: Sing, Act, Dance, and Draw! The eight week children’s series encompasses culture, science, and literature. The program draws on a wealth of family musicians and cultural groups like the Central Park Zoo’s Wildlife Theater and the Puppetmobile, as well as notable Brooklyn children’s authors to create entertaining and educational events. Every Sunday until August 9  from 11 am to 1 pm at Pier 6. Free!

Summer Reading Storytime: Join The Brooklyn Public Library on Tuesdays in July and August at 10:30 am for a rollicking good time listening to stories, singing songs, and enjoying the breeze from the water! Tuesday July 28 at 10.30 am at Pier 3. Free!

Family Day at Jeppe Hein: Please Touch the Art: Get crafty with the Children’s Museum of Arts at the new art installation, Mirror Labyrinth at Pier 3. For children ages 1-10 and their families on July 26 from 12 to 4 pm. Free!

DUMBO Antique Car Rally: On Sunday July 26, from 10am to 4pm, the Model A Ford Club of Long Island will bring out twenty gorgeous, hand-restored models to Anchorage Place for all to see – a treat for car buffs and passersby alike.  Live music from 1 to 3 pm under the Archway, plus Gatsby-era Gangster & Glam hat crafts for the kids from 10 am to 4 pm. Free!
