Join Bending Tree Education as we dive into fun, useful, and practical programming this summer! This season Bending Tree is offering everything from personal essay, and statement writing for college, to workshops. We will be learning about ecology in science fiction, structuring stories, and the uses of fairy tales. Whether your student is just beginning to read, or preparing for college, Bending Tree Education is prepared to tutor students at all levels and ages to hone their skills of writing and reading comprehension. Bending Tree Education is Irene Lyla Lee, a professional writer and the founder of Bending Tree Education. Since 2018 Irene has been a private tutor in both ELA (including tests like the ISEE and SSAT) and French. Before this, Irene created and taught curriculum for first through ninth graders at the “I Have a Dream ” Foundation where she was trained in the early intervention Reading Go program. While there, she managed the site’s mentoring program and witnessed the value of a sustained mentorship connection. She is now a practicing writer providing creative lessons for students to achieve mastery in the art of words.
