The NYTimes reports that the pedestrian bridge in Brooklyn Bridge Park will re-open in Spring 2017 after being closed since August 2014. The wooden bridge that connects Brooklyn Heights with Brooklyn Bridge Park will undergo repairs to make it less bouncy and increase the stability of the bridge.
Officials are also reluctant to give a reopening date, having missed several targets in the past. But they said the bridge should reopen next spring.
