There will be a march to remember and demand justice for Kamari and for the lives of all our children on Saturday November 4th at 11:30am starting at 80 Willoughby Street in Downtown Brooklyn. This event has been postponed!

“Witnesses and the NYPD told Streetsblog that a mother was walking while her 7-year-old son rode a green kick scooter west on Myrtle Avenue at around 7:45 a.m. when the NYPD tow truck driver struck the child as the driver made a right onto N. Portland Avenue — and kept on going.”

“Tyrana Carter, who witnessed the collision, said the boy had been riding a bright green scooter next to his mother, who was pushing another child in a stroller, as they crossed the street. The driver of the tow truck, Ms. Carter said, appeared to be trying to beat a yellow light when she hit the boy” according to the NY Times.
