Open Houses for the Congregation Mount Sinai Hebrew School (sponsored)

Congregation Mount Sinai’s Hebrew School offers an intimate, warm, and caring environment, where students love learning about Judaism and their Jewish heritage. Our curriculum emphasizes Jewish thought, history, Hebrew language, holidays, and customs. In addition, we familiarize our students, regardless of their own cultural background, with traditional Jewish practices so that they can function comfortably in a variety of Jewish settings. Our educational methods focus on empowerment of students’ independent critical thinking, respect for diversity, and freedom of thought and belief. With small classroom settings and individualized attention, students are actively involved in their own learning through open discussion, music, and art. Hebrew school meets during the school year September through May for children in Pre-K to 7th grade.
