The DUMBO Gan preschool offers a variety of enrollment options for children ages 12 month to 4 years old. Located on a quite side street of Dumbo on Plymouth Street this is our 6th year of operation and it has been our pleasure to have been able to work with the Dumbo community to offer this early educational opportunity.
At The Dumbo Gan Preschool, we strive to nurture each child’s innate sense of wonder and curiosity. We firmly believe that the cornerstone for all cognitive learning is a nurtured sense of self worth, achieved by celebrating each child’s individual creative expressions and their unique strengths. Our teachers are experienced educators who bring to their job a unique blend of personal and professional warmth that have become the trademark of the Dumbo Gan, and other Chabad Preschools across the globe.
Our center-based preschool classrooms are full of opportunities for learning, socialization and growth. Judaic and academic themes are mutually-reinforcing, and cover all the various concepts that complete an early childhood education: Literacy, pre-Math, Social Sciences, Sciences and Art. At The Dumbo Gan Preschool, Jewish learning is not simply a subject. The warmth, meanings and practices of Judaism are an integral part of each day. Jewish songs, holidays and traditions are taught in meaningful and joyous ways. Students at the Dumbo Gan come from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures. Gan in Hebrew means Garden. This encapsulates our teaching philosophy and school environment. Children from a variety of backgrounds and traditions come together and learn to play, learn and grow as unique individuals, together.
The Dumbo Gan offers classes for children 12 months old, 18-24 months, 3 years old, and 4 years old. We have flexible schedule options based on the age of your child. Full day is from 9am-2pm, Half day is from 9am-12:30pm, Early care is available from 8-9am and aftercare is available from 2-4. Recess takes place in our backyard.

3’s Program : 5 Full days for $16,000
Older 2’s program : 3 Full Days (M,W,F) for $11,000
Older 2’s Program : 3 Half Days (M-W-F) for $9,000
Young 2’s (18 month old) : 2 Half Days/Full Days (T,Th) for $6,000/$7,000
