At Greene Hill School, an independent progressive Lower and Middle school in Fort Greene, there is an attentiveness to children’s social and academic life. We engage them in a diverse community with a commitment to both social justice and academic excellence.
Greene Hill School has small classes with teachers dedicated to supporting children as they become confident in their abilities to explore, learn, demonstrate compassion, and be inspired. Our students say it best – one lower school student told the director recently that he loves school because it is a “challenge without being a chore.”
