Ice skating in Brooklyn

The ice skating rinks in Prospect Park, Industry City and the Artrink at Brooklyn Children’s Museum are open for the season. New this year – ice skating under the Brooklyn Bridge at Pier 1 in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Glide Ice Skating | Brooklyn Bridge Park

The new ice skating rink with real ice at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza at Pier 1 is open daily until March 1, 2024. Skate sessions are 50 minutes long and begin at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1:15pm, 2:15pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:45pm, 6:45pm, 7:55pm, and 8:55pm. Tickets including skate rental for NYC residents are $25 (kids and grown-ups alike) and admission only is $12 for NYC residents. Free tickets are available one week prior to free sessions every Saturday from 9 to 11am and every Tuesday from 4 to 6pm. Get your tickets here.

LeFrak Ice Skating | Prospect Park

Experience ice skating on an open-air rink and a covered rink in Prospect Park, designed for skaters of all ages and skill levels. Skate sessions are 90-minute long on both rinks. Ice skating costs $8 – $12 per person and skate rental is $8 per person. They also offer skating lessons for ages 5 years and up this winter. Find out more here.

ArtRink | Brooklyn Children’s Museum

ArtRink is a 3,000 square foot synthetic outdoor ice skating rink on the roof of the museum. ArtRink will be open through March 2024. Ticket are $10 (skates included) and need to be purchased in addition to general admission to the museum. ArtRink is open during regular Museum hours, Wednesday through Sunday 10 am to 5 pm and on school holidays. Find out more here.

Ice Skating | Industry City 

The ice skating rink with real ice at Industry City is now open, it is uncovered and outside, dress appropriately for an enjoyable and comfortable skate. Open Thursday 4 to 8 pm Friday 12 to 8 pm, Saturday 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm. All details and tickets here. Note: There will be no ice skating rinks at Brooklyn Commons in Downtown Brooklyn, on Governors Island or the Seaport this season.
