We love kids and want them to enjoy their Summer inside and outside! We explore movement, cool yoga moves, art and age appropriate games to get them physically and kinesthetically connected. Our mission is to create a supportive and empowering environment for all kids. We meet them where they are at and give them a chance to grow in an inquiry-based curriculum. Let us help your child grow physically, emotionally, and mindfully. Children leave with having made a collective visual art piece, having learned creative movement & yoga, and tools for exploring socio-emotional stability as well as relaxation techniques.
Our Kids Summer Camp director has a MA in childhood education, has worked in both public and private school settings, and has a passion for socio-emotional development. All of our teachers have a yoga certification as well as experience teaching children movement, yoga, and/ or art. We work with a teacher/ student ratio of 1:4-5.
Age Groups: Program 1 Dumbo: 4-5 yrs old, Program 2 Gowanus: 6-9 yrs old
Camp Dates: Program 1: Aug 20-23, Program 2: Aug 27-31
Camp Hours: Program 1: 205 pm, Program 2: 9-3 pm
Camp Costs: Program 1: $225 for Abhaya members & $325 regular cost, Program 2: $425 for Abhaya members & $525 regular cost
