World Cup viewings in Brooklyn

The FIFA World Cup will take place in Russia from June 14th to July 15th this year (schedule here). The World Cup final game will take place on Sunday, July 15th at 11 a.m. We have put together a list of venues that show the soccer games in our neighborhoods in Brooklyn:

Brooklyn Heights

The Custom House at 139 Montague Street will be showing all games. More information here.

Chip Shop at 129 Atlantic Avenue will be showing all games. More information here. Expect English fans.

Cobble Hill

Black Forest Brooklyn will transform into a month long World Cup viewing party complete with decorations showing all matches on HD projector and 13 foot giant screen. They will not take reservations during the matches, strictly first come first serve. Expect a lot of German fans. More information here. The Cobble Hill restaurant is located at 181 Smith Street.

Bar Tabac at 128 Smith Street will be showing all games. Expect French fans. More information here.

Downtown Brooklyn

Watch the Worldcup at Fulton Hall at 250 Ashland Place. Food, drinks and soccer starting June 15th. More information here.

MetroTech Center will be screening the World Cup outdoors at MetroTech Commons, only on weekdays starting at 8 am (weather permitting).

Head to Fortina at CityPoint to watch the FIFA World Cup and enjoy breakfast or lunch, and drinks! Menu for games before 11:00 a.m.: $5 draft beer or house wine and $7 bacon egg & cheese sandwich. For all other games: $5 draft beer or house wine, $10 Rays Pizza (Fortina style) and $10 baked ziti. Expect Italian fans. More information here.

DUMBO

World Cup games from June 14 to July 6 will be screened at the Sands Street Plaza in Dumbo Heights (73 Sands Street), on an 80 inch screen, complete with “grass” for viewers to spread out on. Lunch from Bluestone Lane, Taco Dumbo, Randolph Beer, and Untamed Sandwiches can be delivered to the viewing area for these games.

The DUMBO BID hosts a free viewing of the World Cup Semi Finals on Tuesday, July 10 and Wednesday, July 11 at 2 p.m. and the World Cup Finals on Sunday, July 11 at 11 a.m. at the Manhattan Bridge Archway (across from the Pearl Street Triangle) on a super-size screen. Fans are welcome to bring picnic blankets and chairs. Food from local vendors will be available there too.

Randolph Beer in DUMBO Heights will be showing all games. Kid-friendly plus: They have a foosball table, shuffle board and pin ball machine which are all free to use.

Pedro’s on Jay Street is a bustling DUMBO spot with TVs for soccer fans and margaritas for tequila fans!

Seamore’s restaurant at 66 Water Street in DUMBO will show the games during their opening hours (opening at 12 pm daily).

Cuper Cafe inside the NY Media Center at 20 Pearl Street is showing the games during the week during their opening hours starting at 11 am.

Westville DUMBO at 81 Washington Street is showing the games on a big screen in the backyard weather permitting.

Fort Greene

Gowanus

Threes Brewing at 333 Douglass Street  will be showing all games with coffee & pastries from Ninth Street Espresso and lunch by The Meat Hook. Boozy beverages will be flowing from Threes starting at 11am during the week. Weekday games are first come, first served for seating. On the weekends, you can purchase a table package to enjoy the game with plentiful food from The Meat Hook and unlimited drinks. Pig Beach at 480 Union Street will be showing the games on the screen indoors that are taking place during their opening hours on weekends (not the very early games). More information here.
