Experience live performance art at the Open Studios Weekend on Pier 1’s Harbor View Lawn! Stop by Sat, Oct 24 and Sun, Oct 25 to experience live performance art at Pier 1’s Harbor View Lawn! In response to the major challenges that cultural groups have faced to rehearse during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Conservancy is hosting eight NYC-based ensembles for open-air studio rehearsals. Come and go throughout both days to watch live working sessions by a diverse range of dance, theater, and music artists — groups will rehearse every two hours from 9:30am-5:30pm. Find out more here.

Fall Foliage Scavenger Hunt in Brooklyn Bridge Park | 10/27 & 10/29

Participate in a self-guided fall scavenger hunt on Pier 1! Advanced registration required. This month’s Conservancy scavenger hunt will take place at Pier 1 and focus on the seasonal changes in the Park! Pier 1 is the oldest section of the park, which means it is also the area with the largest trees and a great spot to observe fall foliage. This activity is family-friendly, and while all ages are welcome to participate, we think kids ages 4-12 will most enjoy it! The scavenger hunt is self-led, but our educators will be stationed at a check-in table for you to pick up a poster and prize once you complete the hunt. Find out more here.
